About Me

I began writing mainly to get the stories and characters that I imagined, out of my head and onto the page. Everything starts with an idea and then slowly, I begin to see the faces of characters and this eventually becomes a movie that I watch in my mind. I write longhand, burning through lined pages and ballpoint pens with a fierce determination to be faithful to the dreams & visions that spawned the words.

If you enjoy short stories with dream-like qualities or novels that deal with intense emotion, then we have much in common. I want to tease out your feelings and compel you to honestly look at your world through the lens of my characters.

In the Blog section, you will find tiny stories, most under 1,000 words that will give you a better idea of my approach to storytelling. I'll also include musings on characters and settings from time to time.
